Hey Sleep Friends! Dr. Weiss here to deinfluence breathing exercises.
Somebody told you that changing your breathing pattern would *regulate your nervous system*?
Yup, that’s right. Also, “breathing exercise” is not for the faint of heart. It takes time to master the technique. It took me about 3 weeks. Of course I wanted to change it faster, and I know the benefits as a scientist. However, it’s easier said than done. Now that I can put in the time and focused needed for it, breathing exercises are my go-to “regulation” source when I need to slow down. Give it a try and tell me when you start noticing the difference.
